Graph Expo 2003

Just got back from Chicago attending the Graph Expo 2003. What is the Graph Expo you ask? I don't know either. OK... actually it's some type of print industry show where the heavy hitters like Xerox, Canon, Heidelberg, MAN Roland, Scitex and others get together and show off the latest and greatest in high volume print equipment and technology. Why was I there? I'm still trying to figure that one out. In any case, follow this link to see some pics I took with my Motorola t722 phone when I was bored.

Joy

Just got back from Canada. Rock the house. Casinos, XXX, and cuban cigars... w00t! Anyways, the dumpster has come and gone and I can actually see the driveway and garage for the first time in six months. Now if I could just get the contractor the hell out and get the money he owes me...

Yah, People Suck

Oh boy! Here we are May 30th and I still don't have a dumpster! I was just told today that I'd have to go get the dumpster myself or basically pay for the dumpster before I got it (read: GET THE DUMPSTER MYSELF). If there's one thing I've learned from all this, it's to be more cynical and distrustful of people that are a bit too eager to take your money for services.

More movies, whee!

Just picked up copies of The Bourne Identity, Tombstone, Vanilla Sky, Pretty Woman (yah shut up, you know it's a good movie), and Rounders for $10 each. Best Buy was running a two for $20 DVD promo that ended on May 17th... and actually had some titles worth picking up.

The house is pretty much done aside from getting the JUNK out of here via the ever elusive "mystery dumpster". It is now scheduled to arrive May 28th. When that day comes, rest assured I won't hold my breath waiting for it to arrive.

Hrm

No the pictures of my house still aren't up. Why? The house still isn't fully done, that's why. I have piles of construction junk all over the place still waiting to be cleared out. Oh, and I didn't get the pictures yet :)

BTW, if you're looking for a really cool kill-all, do-all web filtering program, check out Proximotron. The thing kills banners, kills popups, kills annoying javascript link hiders, and you can create custom regular expression filters to drop/modify anything else you'd want on any web page. Friggin rocks.

D'oh!

My computer room is being repaired and painted for a few days. Therefore, I have no PC, and no webcam until later it the week. On the plus side, My living room is nice, clean, and empty with the TV and couch in finally!

Random Update

I updated the new stuff section. Check it out and let me know if you're interested in getting anything from the list (I finally got the fast *ahem* FTP site setup). If you've ever played Grand Theft Auto, check out GTA4Real.

If anyone cares, my house is 90% painted inside now. Carpeting for the entire house is supposed to be completely done by April 3rd at the latest. They're still projecting April 14-15th as the completion date of the entire house.

House Comin'

My house is closer to done everyday. The kitchen is fully painted and has linoleoum (sp?) down. The living room and dining room are painted (ceiling and floors), and the two upstairs bedrooms are patched, sanded, and almost ready to be painted. Woohoo! I'll have a ton of pictures up when I finally have a computer room setup to work in.

Old School Gamin'

For some reason, I felt like playing some old school games today (probably from staring at Bud Tapper buried in a pile of crap here everyday). In any case, I grabbed a ton of old school games like Pac-Man, Double Dragon, Donkey Kong, Zaxxon, and Paperboy to name just a few. If you're interested in getting them too, let me know and I'll put them up on the site for you to grab.

New Layout

Got bored today and decided to add a little bit of design to this otherwise bland and useless site. I think it looks alot better anyways. I also added a few missing DVDs and added the theater area for the hell of it.

p.s. Before anyone asks... no, I don't have even this much creativity. I ganked this layout off Open Source Web Design.
